If you are in the throes of planning a wedding with the love of your life it can be tricky knowing whether you want a large wedding or just a small intimate one. If you opt for a small intimate one with just close family and friends it can be much nicer. Here is a guide on how to pull off the most amazing intimate wedding.

If you are trying to find the perfect venue for a small wedding then stay away from huge places like manors or hotels. These are pricey and usually charge a per head cost which can work out to be extortionate for you. Try searching around for smaller places to hold your weddings such as purpose-built barns or gardens. To save a little more money try and find a venue where you can tie the knot and also hold the reception. Usually, they will have a special package deal for something like this.

Guest List

Before you can supply a number to your venue you will need to work out how many people are coming to your special day. If you want to keep it intimate then close family and friends are the way to go. Only inviting family members and friends you are close with means you will have a much more positive experience as opposed to inviting everyone you know. The problem with inviting everyone is not only the price skyrockets but there could be added tension between guests.

Even intimate weddings need entertainment during the course of the day or evening. Look into what interests you such as a DJ or band. You could also have something like a photo booth or caricature artist, this creates great memories for you and your guests to look back on in years to come.
