drink & be merry on your wedding day
If you have decided to bring your own drinks for your big day we can take delivery of your drinks two days before your wedding. We check your drinks against your Drinks Inventory, (discussed with you at your Wedding Planning meeting) to ensure everything has arrived and then store securely.
Early on your wedding morning drinks are moved to the deep chiller and we get that delicious red wine to room temperature and breathing in good time! Whether champagne, prosecco, cava, beer or soft drinks for your drinks reception, we serve out on polished salvers and correct glassware.
Jenkinsons provide all the necessary glassware, ice (and even the fruit for your Pimms!) and staff for the service of your own drinks throughout the daytime. In the evening drinks are purchased from the Dairy Bar at fairly priced local pub prices!
The Catering Managers are also known for their mixing powers and ready to rustle up Summer Pimms, Mojitos, Barbadian Rum Punch or Traditional Lemonades should they have been planned as the Wedding Reception Drinks. In the Winter and at Christmas weddings we have often spotted a nice cheerful cup of Mulled wine whirring around as a lovely warming brew!
Please rest assured there is ‘no hidden bar sting’ and the fully stocked Dairy Bar is priced at normal pub prices! This normally draws many positive comments from those purchasing a pint (£3.40-3.60) or bottle of wine (£14.95) in the evening!
