Weddings in a Barn – Oak Barn Wedding Reception Barn

florish_dodfordmanorOak Barn is a traditionally crafted, magnificent oak framed wedding reception barn.  Taking nearly two years to design, whilst a small number of your guests may have been to weddings in a barn, none will have experienced a more stunning exclusive wedding venue location than Dodford Manor’s Oak Barn.  And this is even before they have tasted the delicious wedding food!

On entering Oak Barn, you will have your guests marveling at the barn’s craftsmanship and spectacularly glazed northern wall, that provides simply wonderful far reaching views of English countryside and ancient St Mary’s Church, whatever the season.

Oak Barn provides a memorable setting for your wedding breakfast, in an impressively atmospheric yet genuinely flexible setting.  Lovely for intimate weddings of say 30 – 40 family and friends but also capacious enough to seat 170 guests for your wedding  breakfast, and up to 200 guests in the evening.

You are free to arrange the barn as you like and the layout allows great scope whilst retaining a unique wedding setting (and our award winning wedding events team are always on hand to offer our guidance or ideas should you request)!

In the daytime Oak Barn is filled with natural light and beautiful rural outlooks. At night Oak Barn and indeed the whole Dodford Manor venue is transformed.  Gentle up-lighting reveals the oak posts and beams, white washed walls and distinctive design.  Cast your eyes outside into the Inner Yard to see beautiful twinkly lights in Holly trees and Mortain Barn’s ironstone walls warmly glowing whilst you enjoy the evening celebrations in an impressive, warm, comfortable ambience.

Oak Barn also has a great dance floor complete with Glitter Ball effect lighting and plenty of room for everyone to dance the night away to the DJ or band from our amazing Dodford Manor Evening Entertainment Live Performers List.
